Notes
During 'bubble toes' the cops pulled the plug on the entire concert, litterally, and jack had to negotiate with them to play at least one more song.
The reason it was stopped was because there were far too many people to fit in the tiny Lou's Records parking lot and they were spilling out onto PCH south, a major highway.
In addition to this, people were up on the railroad tracks across the street from Lou's. This was the 3rd and probably last in-store jack has done at lou's records.
the first being in jan 2001 for Brushfire fairytales where 30 people showed up and he played inside in the aisle. And in May 2003 for 'On and on' which was done in a similar 'parking lot' fashion as this one.

Subject: I was the taper
Show Quality: 3 of 5 stars. Fun in-store but bummer the cops shut it down.. 91x shoudln't have been promoting the crap out of the free in-store bringing every bro in PB up for it.. It is cool to hear the audience sinigng along and keeps it going just as the plug is pulled. It was cool to hear someone request 'walk alone' right before 'times like these'.. jack replys 'walk alone? man, that's an old one' (walk alone was a demo available only on J.O.A.T.). Overall a fun show, but I wasn't too happy with the 'In Between Dreams' songs he played before being shut down and the classics were alright but I would have liked to hear more new stuff.. The sun, the long wait, the huge crowd, the limited setlist.. It was a fun free saturday afternoon, I just wish it went better... by the way, the los angeles in-store turned out great and is on the archive now. grab it! (thanks bobby!)
